Lumen IQ™ Central

At the heart of the Lumen IQ™ Street Light Management System is Lumen IQ™ Central, a dedicated, smart client application that resides on your computer and uses the Internet to interface between the database for your energy efficient street light network and one or more Lumen IQ™ Stations. It provides you with full control your street light network(s) from practically any location worldwide using a desktop PC and a connection to the Internet.

Communications with your street light network is delivered securely and cost-effectively over the Internet. All fixtures can be presented visually on a map along with accurate GPS coordinates.

With Lumen IQ™ Central installed and minimal training, you can

• Create and maintain inventory records for your street light network(s).
• Create and implement adaptive lighting protocols based on accurate energy usage analysis.
• Create and manage pro-active street light maintenance schedules. As different roadway types (residential, collector, arterial, expressway and freeway) have different maintenance requirements, you can manage these maintenance schedules by both roadway type as well as street light GPS locations.
• Interface with asset management systems to provide accurate location and routing information. Lumen IQ™ Central has been integrated seamlessly with Microsoft® MapPoint® server. It can also interface effectively with other popular off-the-shelf asset management systems, such as Hansen or ArcGIS.

There are two options for data storage using Lumen IQ™ Central:

Option One: Streetlight's Fully Managaged Central Database

Ultimate "Peace of Mind"

Through world leading IT service providers, Streetlight maintains a Tier One data facility as a repository for all information pertaining to our client's Lumen IQ™ Street Light Optimization Systems.

The advantages of using Streetlight's Central Database is that your data is guaranteed to be secure and your database will function optimally due to real-time advanced monitoring. This monitoring prevents situations that could cause immediate database failure and virtually eliminates downtime and the associated costs.

The Streetlight Central Database is offered on a per lamp fixture/per month basis and includes the Lumen IQ™ Central software package, maintenance and upgrades at no additional charge.

Option Two: Client-Managed Central Database

If preferred, Lumen IQ™ Central software can also be configured to operate using a database that is housed and maintained by your organization. In this instance, the Lumen IQ™ Central software and database is offered as an annual software license.
