Chairman of the Board

Mr. Richardson is currently the President of Lee Richardson Financial Corporation. He is also a director of DevStudios International Inc. (since September, 2000) and ACD Systems International Inc. (since April, 1999). From 1995 through April 1998, Mr. Richardson was President, CEO and Director of Goldtex Resources Ltd., a publicly traded company that subsequently merged with Canadian Mountain Minerals Ltd.

Mr. Krynski has a proven track record of building shareholder value through high-growth opportunities in the manufacturing and technology sectors. He has broad experience creating and managing both private and publicly traded small to mid-size businesses and his successes to-date include:

  • Founding HTI Canada Ltd., an oilfield production equipment supply company which was sold in 1994 to Kvaerner Process Systems Inc.;
  • Co-founding and leading Dyad Holdings Ltd., parent of Dyad Data Services, a Calgary leader in the management and storage of geophysical data which was sold in 1999;
  • Co-founding Ceramic Protection Corporation (CPC), an advance ceramics technology company manufacturing wear products and ceramic ballistics protection products for personal and vehicle protection (TSX: CEP);
  • Co-founding Foundary Ventures, an investment partnership focused on early stage technology for advanced manufacturing companies.

Mr. Krynski currently serves on the boards of The Caltech Group, a Calgary-based engineering company, and Macro Industries Inc., a public Northern BC pipeline construction company.

Dale Gann

Dale Gann holds over twelve year's executive experience in North America's high technology sector. He has long been recognized for building relationships with media, industry, academics and government; and for his valuable involvement in BC's six key technology clusters. Mr. Gann has achieved significant success in public relations campaign planning and implementation. He is also a member of several industry associations, and sits on many key committees dedicated to enhancing the reputation and success of organizations within the high-tech sector in British Columbia. In 2007, Mr. Gann was named as one of Vancouver Island's "Visionaries Under 40".

As the Vice President - Technology Parks, Mr. Gann is accountable for the direction, development, and day-to-day leadership of VITP. He provides leadership and strategic direction to the team by developing innovative site plans, establishing relationships with academia, industry and government to grow the high tech cluster located at VITP.

Micheal J. Perkins

Mr. Perkins has been a partner in legal firms for more than 23 years. Michael is currently and has been a partner with Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, Barristers and Solicitors since July, 2002. Between July 2002 and May 1, 1991 Mr. Perkins was a partner with Armstrong Perkins Hudson LLP Barristers and Solicitors (formally Ogilvie and Company), and prior to, he was a partner with Burstall Ward, Barristers and Solicitors, since April 1, 1988, and prior to, a partner with McCombe, Mainwaring, Perkins, Barristers and Solicitors, since February 1, 1985.

G. Douglas Spencer

Mr. Spencer began his career as an electrical engineer in 1962 and retired from BC Hydro after 33 years of service. Prior to his retirement in 1998, Mr. Spencer occupied senior management positions with BC Hydro and was responsible for numerous large construction projects. His last position with BC Hydro was Manager of Corporate Safety for BC Hydro's group of companies. For the past five years, Mr. Spencer has provided project management consulting services to Tero Consulting Ltd. and has served on Streetlight's board since July, 1999.

Keith Wellon

Mr. Wellon was appointed Executive Vice-President, Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, ENMAX Corporation in October 2007. He is responsible for the regulated transmission and distribution businesses, fibre optics business and power services.

Mr. Wellon brings 20 years of experience in the energy field working with Newfoundland Power, Imperial Oil and, most recently, Superior Propane. He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta. He also serves on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations.
